Welcome to web site for the Garden City High School Class of 1964's 55th reunion! This will be the beginning of "informal" reunions for all the reunions with "5" in them.
The official date has not yet been announced but will revolve around the Garden City Football Homecoming game in 2019. What has been suggested for next year (and future “5” reunion years) is that we have an informal reunion based on the date of the GC football team’s homecoming game. That date hasn’t been selected by the school yet, but Al Vanasco is wired in to the people at the high school making the decision and will advise us as soon as the game date is known. I will be sure to pass it on to all of you as early as I can.
Once you know the date, contact your close friends from the class and set up meeting places either the night before (Leo’s perhaps?) or prior to/after/at the football game.
If you want, let Tom Schenck know your plans and he will pass the word to the class for maximum participation (or don’t tell him if you want it to be just a small group of close friends.) It might be fun to hop from spot to spot.
As with our 50th reunion, we hope this site will make it fun and easy to keep up with the various reunion plans and to actually participate in the reunion by sending in pictures and messages that can be posted and shared with your fellow classmates.
