History of the design of Garden City

One tidbit I learned is: Streets all over the village are named after Stewart's heirs, including Merillon, Clinch, Butler, Weatherall and Lefferts.

The article talks about AT Stewart's (as in Stewart Avenue) design for the area around the period of 1870. It also talks about the work done by his wife: Cornelia Clinch Stewart and their family.
